Kanye’s consistency is in his ability to NEVER sell you the same product twice. And it’s no different for Yeezus. I thought it was a great album. But I understand why a lot of people may not like it. If you want a safe album with safe beat selections, safe rhyme schemes and a good rapper get Born Sinner. But I highly suggest you buy Yeezus with an open mind, free of expectations and comparisons to Dark Fantasy or any of the older albums.
Let’s start with the topic that prompted this small essay. People reviewing Yeezus and calling Kanye a misogynistic rapper. People who listen to this album with a one dimensional viewpoint aren’t going to see the multiple other facets of this CD that need to be considered.
